As someone who has been on an all-natural hair journey for 13 years, I can attest to the challenges that come with hair wash day. Despite my love for my all-natural hair, the process of shampooing, conditioning, detangling, rinsing, styling and dyeing is time- consuming and messy. The aftermath is equally challenging – hair scattered throughout the bathroom, product spills on the counters and sinks, and the constant battle to keep everything clean.

To reduce the mess, I started washing my hair less often. However, that was not healthy for my hair, and the problem did not go away.

During one especially difficult wash day, surrounded by the usual hair care mess, I realized I couldn’t be the only person dealing with this. Out of frustration, I even cut my hair shorter to make it easier to manage, but that did not solve the problem either.

After conducting a thorough search for an effective market solution and coming up empty-handed, I decided to take matters into my own hands: I created a line of disposable bathroom mats designed to protect surfaces from the chaos of hair care and other bathroom messes-like makeup spills, shower gel drips, hair dye stains, and even saving earrings from going down the drain.
